Licensed Independent Social Worker

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Licensed Independent Social Worker with a strong background in mental health to provide assessment, counseling, and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various mental health issues, therapeutic interventions, and a passion for improving the well-being of those in need.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Counseling and Therapy: Provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients dealing with mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' goals and support their recovery process.
• Crisis Intervention: Be prepared to respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and appropriate interventions to ensure client safety.
• Advocacy: Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the healthcare system and community resources, ensuring they receive the best care and support available.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, to provide holistic care and support to clients.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Education and Prevention: Offer educational programs and workshops to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote prevention strategies.
• Ethical Conduct: Adhere to the NASW Code of Ethics and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling and therapy.
• Strong knowledge of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
