Position Title: Structural Fitter

Location: Zip Code 77064

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 / hr.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays during high production)

Job Summary

Seeking a Structural Fitter with 5+ years of experience to interpret blueprints and assemble structural steel components, conveyor frames, and supports.

Key Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, lay out steel components, and perform tack welding.
• Prep materials using saws, ironworkers, magnetic drills, and grinders.
• Inspect fitted assemblies for precise dimensions and quality.
• Safely operate overhead cranes/forklifts and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• 5+ years of structural fitting or steel fabrication experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills (tape measure, squares, calipers).
• Knowledge of steel types, sizes, and geometric shapes.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
