Travel RN – Emergency Room (Nights)

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring clinical intervention
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and patient outcomes, modifying care plans as needed
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures and document timely, appropriate interventions

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current PALS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current TNCC or ATCN Certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI / De-Escalation Certification
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
