Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of MRI experience for an outpatient clinic setting, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification accepted.

Job Details

• Outpatient clinic setting supporting adult acute care patients,
• 5x8 hour day shifts, 12:30pm-9pm Monday-Friday,
• On weeks with a Saturday shift, works four 8-hour shifts (12:30pm-9pm) Monday-Friday plus one 8-hour shift (8am-4pm) on Saturday,
• No on-call requirement,
• May float to additional facilities as needed,
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment,
• Epic charting system preferred,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required,
• BLS certification required,
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification accepted,
• State license not required for this certification pathway,
• License required if applicable,
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by the traveler's agency,
• Adult acute care work setting experience,
• Epic EMR experience preferred,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered,
• Teal top and black pants scrub color required,
• Candidates must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the standard travel rate; local candidates may be considered at a reduced local rate,
• Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the health system for at least one year before returning as a traveler,
• During hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
