From The Assembly our industry workshop and community for event professionals - to La Retreat, an immersive gathering designed to bring together women founders, entrepreneurs, and creatives in Italy, we're creating platforms that extend beyond traditional event production.Our team has the opportunity to contribute to these experiences and be part of a company invested in shaping conversations, building community, and moving the event industry forward.THE ROLEWe're looking for a seasoned, strategic, and creative Senior Event Producer to join our team in NYC. Someone excited by the challenge of making ambitious ideas happen, looking to grow within a boutique agency, and helping keep our culture strong.You're someone who can move seamlessly between the big picture and the smallest detail, lead with confidence, and help us continue doing great work and moving this company forward.This is not a role for someone who simply wants to check boxes and follow a production schedule. We're looking for someone who can see the bigger picture while obsessing over the details. Someone with extensive experience in live event production and experiential who understands what it takes to bring ambitious ideas to life.You'll lead the planning, production, and execution of high-touch events and work closely with our internal creative and production teams, clients, and vendor partners to manage timelines, budgets, logistics, and all of the moving pieces that make an event happen.The right person is organized, resourceful, calm under pressure, and incredibly good at figuring things out. You know that great production is equal parts planning, communication, problem-solving, and the ability to pivot when things inevitably change.Most importantly, you care about the work. You're someone who wants to make things better, smarter, and more interesting, and you know how to bring a team along with you.WHAT YOU'LL DOLead end-to-end production of high-touch events, from initial planning through onsite execution and post-event wrap.Own event logistics and project management, including timelines, workbacks, production schedules, event specs, run-of-shows, and deliverables.Manage event budgets from estimates through reconciliation, including vendor quotes, forecasting, budget tracking, and identifying efficiencies.Lead vendor relationships across fabrication, scenic, AV, lighting, F&B, rentals, staffing, entertainment, and other production partners.Partner closely with creative and design teams to translate concepts into thoughtful, executable experiences while protecting the creative vision.Lead internal project communication and teams, keeping stakeholders aligned on scope, deliverables, priorities, and potential challenges.Serve as a senior client-facing lead, communicating clearly and confidently and helping clients navigate decisions throughout the planning process.Lead onsite production for major events and activations, overseeing vendors, staff, schedules, and execution from setup through strike.Contribute to new business and agency initiatives, bringing production expertise, pricing insight, and operational thinking to proposals and pitches. xhyhwjd Support 23 Layers-owned experiences, including The Assembly and La Retreat, as part of our growing ecosystem of events, education, and community.THE SKILLS THAT MATTER...Have 6+ years of experience producing live events, experiential marketing, or brand experiences, preferably within an agency environmentHave a proven track record of producing complex events from start to finishHave strong event budget management, forecasting, and reconciliation skillsUnderstand the realities of live production, including fabrication, AV, scenic, staffing, logistics, and onsite executionAre highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the detailsAre a strong problem solver who stays calm and resourceful when things inevitably changeAre polished and confident in client-facing situations, with exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skillsTake initiative, think strategically, and don't wait to be told what needs to happen nextThrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment where no two projects look exactly alikeAre willing and able to travel and work onsite for events as neededBONUS POINTS IF YOU...Have experience with Adobe Creative CloudHave worked with Asana or other project management platformsHave an understanding of design, fabrication, and how creative concepts translate into physical environmentsHave a strong network of vendors and production partnersTHE DETAILSTitle: Senior Event ProducerLocation: New York CitySchedule: HybridType: Full-Time (ask us about other contract opportunities)
