If you are the guy other techs bring their hard ones to, keep reading

We are not looking for a parts changer. We are looking for the technician who reads the wiring diagram before he picks up a tool, who pulls the data instead of guessing, and who fixes it right the first time so the car never comes back. If you take it personal when a vehicle comes back, you will fit in here.

What you will be doing

• Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and drivability problems and get to the actual root cause
• Work from scan data, wiring diagrams, flow charts, and factory service information rather than guesswork
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and recommend the repairs the vehicle actually needs
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently, to spec, every time
• Document your diagnostic path and your completed work clearly enough that the next person can follow it
• Keep a clean, safe, organized bay

What we are looking for

• Real automotive diagnostic and repair experience on modern vehicles
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Electrical is where most techs tap out. That is where we need you.
• Proficient with professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment
• Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and flow charts
• Working knowledge of computer controlled systems on today's vehicles
• Detail oriented. You verify the fix before the car leaves your bay.
• Able to work independently without somebody standing over your shoulder
• Valid driver's license
• Must have your own complete set of tools including an up to date scanner

Bonus points

• ASE certifications or other industry recognized credentials
• Missouri safety and emissions license

What we offer

• $35 to $60 per hour depending on what you bring, with a 40 hour guarantee available
• Top pay in the area for a technician who can produce
• No late nights
• Quality equipment, current diagnostic resources, and the information you need to do the job right
• Steady full time hours and a consistent work flow
• Professional shop, professional people, supportive management
• Room to grow and support for continued training and certification
