If you are passionate about finding a career that you can develop and grow in, then please contact us.We offer:Choice of three health insurance plans; you choose the plan best for you and your familyDental planVision and eyeglass planCompany-paid life insuranceOptional voluntary benefit menu including disability insurance, legal services, group term life insurance, critical illness insurance, and more401(k) retirement plan with company matchUp to 4 weeks of paid vacationJob Responsibilities:The Lot Attendant is responsible for managing the dealership lot which includes cleanup, movement, organization, and display of vehicle inventory, tagging the vehicles with disclaimers, and tagging vehicle keysThe Lot Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the sale and upkeep of vehicles, and will oversee the inventory process by managing the following tasks:Receive and verify inbound vehicles against invoiceInspect vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice/addendumRecords the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receiptCompares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoiceAssigns stock control numbers to carsCatalog and input keys into the One Micro key systemEnsuring inventory is fueled/charged, cleaned, presentable, and properly displaying window stickers, buyers guide, and vehicle informationMaintain stocking levels; keep "duplicates" on the satellite lot to ensure all vehicles are represented on dealership lotDaily lot walks, checking that front line vehicles have branded tag frames, plate inserts, and decalsManage wholesale units, including use of a weekly logAssist sales team during busy times by delivering sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation / detail centerLot organization will be a vital part of this role:Ensure inventory and trade in vehicles are promptly moved out of customer parking areasParks new, preowned, trade in, and wholesale vehicles in assigned areasMoves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in orderPicking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and otherMaintaining and organizing the vehicle inventoryMove and deliver vehicles when instructedAssist with dealer tradesDeliver ongoing quality assurance for on-lot vehiclesAssisting with weather related tasks when necessary, including snow prep and removalCarry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management due to operational needsQualifications:Positive attitude and team mentalityHigh level of organization, with attention to detail and focus on qualityStrong coordination and communication skillsAbility to actively listen and take direction, and in turn work independently, take initiative, multitask, and problem solveProficiency in dealership inventory software, or the ability to learn to use itAbility to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehiclesValid driver's license and safe driving recordGeneral knowledge of vehicle mechanical operationsAbility to read and comprehend directionsAbility to work outdoors, stand for extended periods of time, and use hand and power toolsMust be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays if requested
