Registered Nurse – NICU
Schedule: Shift: 3x12 day shifts or 4x12 day shifts On-call: Yes Weekends: Required
Assignment Details: Contract length: Not specified Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Requirements: License: Valid state RN license required at submission (pending licenses not accepted) Certifications: BLS, NRP Experience: At least 1 year of NICU Level III experience required EMR: Epic
Roles & Responsibilities: Provide specialized nursing care for neonates in a Level III NICU. Attend deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation and stabilization. Manage IV therapies, including initiation and maintenance of IVs, UAC, and UVC. Administer respiratory support such as CPAP and HFNC. Conduct family teaching and provide developmental care to parents and guardians. Monitor and manage patients diagnosed with conditions like prematurity, respiratory distress, and neonatal sepsis.
Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 24 hours Pre-approved time off: 1 request must be included at submission Holiday commitment: Must work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Floating: May be required to float to nearby facilities References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
