Project Overview

HireScale is partnering with a high-growth SaaS organization to fundamentally redesign how work flows across the business. This is a fractional or full-service Work Transformation Consultant engagement focused on building scalable operating systems that connect strategy to execution across all core functions—Revenue, Product, Customer Success, Operations, and Finance.

The goal is not incremental process improvement. This engagement is about end-to-end work transformation —designing the systems, processes, and configurations that allow the organization to operate with clarity, speed, and alignment at scale.

You will serve as both a systems architect and process engineer , translating fragmented workflows into a unified operating model supported by modern SaaS tooling, automation, and data visibility. This includes rethinking how work is initiated, tracked, executed, and measured across the entire organization.

A strong emphasis is placed on process methodology, operational rigor, and systems configuration —ensuring that tools are not just implemented, but properly designed to support how the business actually runs.

This is a hands-on execution role. You will be expected to move between strategic design and technical configuration, building working systems inside platforms like CRM, ERP, project management, and workflow automation tools.

The end goal is to create a connected, scalable operating system for the business —where teams are aligned, workflows are standardized, and execution becomes predictable, measurable, and continuously optimizable.

Scope of Work & Core Capabilities

• Design and implement end-to-end operating models across Revenue, Product, Customer Success, and Operations
• Map, analyze, and redesign core business processes to improve speed, clarity, and efficiency
• Configure and optimize business systems (CRM, ERP, HRIS, project management, and workflow tools)
• Translate organizational strategy into structured, executable workflows and operating rhythms
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), governance models, and cross-functional handoffs
• Build scalable workflow automation across tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Jira, Asana, or equivalent systems
• Ensure system architecture aligns with how work is actually performed across teams
• Integrate data flows across systems to improve visibility, reporting, and decision-making
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and operational inefficiencies and redesign them into scalable processes
• Drive adoption through change management, documentation, and training frameworks
• Collaborate with leadership to define operating cadence, KPIs, and performance tracking systems
• Ensure all systems are maintainable, auditable, and scalable as the organization grows

Engagement Brief

This engagement is focused on delivering a fully transformed operating system for a SaaS organization—where processes, tools, and teams are tightly aligned to execution and scale. Success is measured by operational clarity, system adoption, and measurable improvements in cross-functional efficiency.

• Target Outcomes: A fully integrated operating system across core business functions, with standardized processes, configured business systems, and improved execution efficiency. Deliver measurable gains in cross-functional alignment, workflow speed, and operational visibility. Ensure systems are scalable, well-documented, and fully embedded within the organization.
• Duration: 8–16 weeks (fractional or full-service depending on scope)

• Portfolio Requirements:
• 2–3 relevant projects in process transformation, business systems design, RevOps, or operational scaling
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership (problem → process/system design → implementation → measurable outcome)
• Clear evidence of impact (efficiency gains, cycle time reduction, system adoption, or organizational scale improvements)
• Experience configuring and optimizing enterprise SaaS tools across multiple business functions
• Supporting materials such as process maps, system architecture diagrams, case studies, or technical documentation preferred
