You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will Utilize warehouse management system for putaway and picking transactions Other duties as deemed necessary Keep work area safe, organized and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements daily Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment Inspect all merchandise for damages and count discrepancies Verify product is on correct lanes Picking and putaway of product from cross dock trailers and racks Daily put away duties including putting away product on all types of MHE and loading of product to trailers as needed Warehouse management system receiving and labeling of inbound product, including verification of overages, shortages, and damaged product versus inbound paperwork for shipments Physically and systemically load/unload trailers using RF equipment Work with lead to prioritize hot orders Must be able to systematically account for all cartons moved in assigned areas Conduct dock searches for cartons as needed Effectively utilize MHE to complete receiving and picking functions Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent This is an onsite and in office role Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team – performing whatever duties are necessary Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to multitask and be extremely detailed while performing all tasks Ability to do basic math - addition, multiplication, subtraction and division Ability to learn warehouse management system functions (PKMS) Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner Flexible to work overtime as required Preferred qualities Bilingual is a plus – English/Spanish Familiar with RF Handheld Scanner Experience with material handling equipment Physical requirements Job requires continuous physical exertion – walking, bending, lifting, standing, climbing – ability to lift 65 pounds minimum with or without accommodation Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time Must be able to use a computer and RF scanner for long periods of time Benefits Generous discount on all Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brand products 401(k) plan and other investment opportunities Paid vacations, Employee Assistance Programs, Time Off to Volunteer, Matching Gifts Community Service Program, and Holidays (in some locations) Health benefits, dental and vision insurance, including same-sex domestic partner benefits, Legal and Identity Protection Plans and Pet Insurance For more information on benefits, visit MyWSIBenefits.com To learn more about our Supply Chain culture and regional associate events, visit the shortened link: shorturl.at/R3OAX EOE #J-18808-Ljbffr Williams-Sonoma, Inc.
