This opportunity offers a rewarding role as a pharmacist within a specialized inpatient hospital setting in Omaha, NE. The facility focuses on rehabilitation care, with patients primarily receiving TPNs and IV antibiotics. The pharmacy team is preparing for upcoming retirements, seeking skilled pharmacists ready to take on impactful responsibilities within this supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and verify medication orders, particularly TPN and IV antibiotic therapies
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care on the rehab unit
• Assist in medication preparation and distribution in line with hospital protocols
• Utilize the Altera Sunrise system for pharmacy operations (training available)
• Adapt quickly to dynamic patient needs and workflow changes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Nebraska pharmacist license required
• Experience or strong interest in hospital inpatient pharmacy, especially rehab care
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, with Saturday shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM and rotating weekend coverage
• Willingness to learn and effectively use the Altera Sunrise system
• Previous familiarity with agency staffing preferred but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach
