System Specialist

System SpecialistA System Specialist will provide world class leadership for high-profile orders and high-end service support with installations, startups, commissioning and testing, scheduled and emergency services on Precision Cooling Products. The SS is required to establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives and others as appropriate. The SS is also required to maintain continuous communication with CRC, Area/District Offices, and direct manager.Responsibilities include:Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish work related goalsPerform a extensive amount of extremely difficult and challenging work related tasksRequires no direct supervision while leading and directing othersSupport start-up and commissioning activities for assigned projectsRender on site and phone assistance to customers.Communicate with appropriate Technical Support/Engineering on equipment issuesProvide on site or via Telephone to CE'sOperate in a safe manner in accordance with published safety guidelinesProvide accurate and timely reporting according to company guidelines;Provide proper and adequate communication to internal and external customersMaximize productivity by combining service opportunitiesQualifications include:Required experience (One of the following)Minimum 10 years relevant industry/commercial experience and leadership experienceSix years military experience in a related field plus 5 years Liebert product experienceRequired educationMust have High School Diploma or a accredited GED1-2 year HVAC Diploma or Technical School DegreeEPA 608 refrigerant license – Level 2 or UniversalInterpersonal SkillsProfessionalLeaderReliableTeam PlayerMust be very proficient with electrical / electronic test equipment and fundamentalsMust be very proficient in reading and interpreting electrical line diagrams and blueprintsTechnical skillsAbility to make in depth site evaluation skills to include: environmental temperature, and general operating conditionsIndependently perform fix/repair techniques based on knowledgeAbility to perform proper brazing techniquesCapable of completing tasks and return unit to full operating conditionsIn depth knowledge on Liebert Products and the ability to leadCapable to train and supply instructions to other CEsAbility to summarize and report all work related tasks performedProject Management skills & experience a plusStrong skill sets:Ability to schedule and coordinate work schedules for other associates and subcontractorsAbility to provide technical support via telephone or in person to other associates or vendorsAbility to instruct on the job training to other associatesAbility to delegate work activities to associates in a work group based upon skill levelOutstanding communication skillsCustomer service skillsTroubleshooting skillsSafety proceduresSuperior organizational and planning skillsComputer skillsMechanical aptitudeStrong communication skillsAbility to communicate with all levels within the customer organizationStrong verbal communicationExcellent written skillsAble to manage stressful situationsExcellent time management ability, capable of working without direct supervision.Physical & Environmental Demands include:While performing duties of the above jobs, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or other components; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear and smell.
