Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training for new staff and students, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, plus AMT/ASCP certification preparation.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
