Licensed Medicare Agent – San Antonio, TX

1099 Independent Contractor | Field + Hybrid | Estimated Earnings $60,000–$90,000+

Summit Shores Advisors is expanding and looking for Licensed Medicare Agents in the Texas area to help clients understand their healthcare options while building long-term customer relationships.

The role

You will work with clients in your local territory, combining face-to-face meetings with flexible home-based administration.

You will help individuals understand Medicare and ACA options, complete needs-based assessments and guide clients through the enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and understand their healthcare needs
• Explain Medicare Advantage, Medigap and ACA options
• Support clients through enrollment and follow-up
• Build relationships within your local community
• Maintain accurate records using CRM and digital tools
• Offer additional approved products where appropriate

Earnings

• Earn $250 per standard Medicare enrollment and $500 per New to Medicare enrollment.
• Estimated earnings are $60,000–$90,000+ per year depending on production.
• This is a 1099 commission-based opportunity.

What you’ll need

• Active Life & Health insurance license
• AHIP 2026–2027 certification
• E&O insurance ($1M/$3M)
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle and auto insurance
• Strong communication and sales skills
• Eligibility to work in the US
• Medicare or ACA experience is beneficial, but training and support are provided.
