Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

Job Description

Job Summary:

Prepare and analyze laboratory samples to support diagnostic testing and patient care. Ensure accuracy and compliance with hospital standards while maintaining efficient workflow in the clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient specimens.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
Document test results accurately and report findings to healthcare providers.
Follow safety protocols and quality control procedures to ensure specimen integrity.
Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and resolving discrepancies.
Collaborate with laboratory team to optimize testing procedures and workflows.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid Medical Technologist, Clinical Lab Scientist, or MLT certification.
Possess at least 1 year of recent experience in a laboratory setting.
Demonstrate proficiency in technical testing and laboratory equipment.
Maintain excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to pass background checks and laboratory competency assessments.
