Child Autism Therapist (Bachelors Degree Required)

Job Description Action Behavior Centers hires caring people to help children with autism build communication, social, and independent skills. This is a full‑time position located in Chicago, IL. The position requires Monday‑Friday daytime hours (8 am–5 pm) with optional Saturdays based on patient needs. Schedule & On‑Site Details Monday‑Friday, 8 am–5 pm (predictable daytime hours – no nights) Optional Saturdays available based on patient needs Location: 2762 N Lincoln Ave Unit B, Chicago, IL 60614 Immediate openings available Training & Certification No prior experience required; paid training provided We fully cover RBT certification, which you must complete within 20 days of hire Responsibilities Deliver one‑on‑one ABA therapy to children ages 18 months–8 years using play‑based interventions Follow personalized treatment plans and collect session data Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands‑on activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed Requirements At least 18 years old Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Child Development, Psychology, Health Sciences, or equivalent) Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and frequent floor activity Reliable attendance and punctuality Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire Team orientation; may occasionally cover nearby ABC clinic Compensation & Benefits Bachelor’s Degree: $17.50–$27 per hour Master’s Degree: $19–$28 per hour Raises every 6 months with clear growth goals Health insurance (90% covered), dental and vision benefits 10 paid holidays, 10 PTO days, and 2 flex days Free lunch every Friday DoorDash DashPass and Calm app provided Student loan repayment support Growth Opportunities Behavior Therapists may advance into roles such as Clinical Administrators, Operations Managers, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
