Charge Nurse (LVN/RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Charge Nurse (LVN/RN) to lead our team of healthcare professionals at Avir at Nacogdoches. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff.

About the Role:

• The Charge Nurse (LVN/RN) is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the nursing staff on a specific unit or department

• Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring that all care is delivered in accordance with established standards and policies

• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of patients and staff

• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff on a specific unit or department

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans

• Ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with established standards and policies

• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals and departments as needed

• Monitor and maintain patient records and other documentation

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other quality assurance activities

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of patients and staff

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to established policies and procedures
