Registered Nurse

This position involves working night shifts for 12 hours each, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry. A permanent state license or compact license must be in hand at the time of application. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, and candidates must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification before starting. References must come from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty. Co-worker references will not be accepted. All required certifications need to be active and submitted at the time of application. Candidates must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests during orientation, achieving acceptable scores. Travelers will have a maximum of two attempts to pass these assessments. A negative drug screen from the last 12 months, including nicotine testing, is required. Candidates cannot have any open background cases. All travelers must be nicotine-free, except for exempt roles. Permanent and per diem candidates are subject to a one-year waiting period before re-application. Candidates may extend their assignment for up to 18 months, followed by a six-month mandatory break, which can be deferred on a case-by-case basis. Compliance with annual competency requirements is necessary for continuous contracts.
