About the Role
Our recruiting firm is partnering with a client in the Medicare and health insurance services industry to identify experienced Licensed Health and Life Agents for the upcoming Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). This position focuses on helping individuals understand and evaluate their healthcare coverage options through scheduled consultations rather than high-volume outbound sales activities.
Agents will work directly with current and prospective members through phone and video appointments, providing guidance on Medicare plan options, answering coverage-related questions, and supporting enrollment decisions. This opportunity is available remotely or onsite in the Miamisburg, Ohio area. Job Description
As a Licensed Health and Life Agent, you will provide consultative support to Medicare-eligible individuals during the enrollment period. The role emphasizes customer service, education, compliance, and relationship management while assisting members with healthcare coverage decisions.
Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled Medicare plan review appointments with current and prospective clients.
• Assist members in evaluating health insurance plan options during Open Enrollment and Annual Enrollment Periods.
• Provide guidance regarding Medicare-related products, benefits, and coverage changes.
• Answer client questions and deliver a professional customer experience.
• Complete follow-up activities and ongoing account servicing responsibilities.
• Manage inbound appointment and call queue activity as needed.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, documentation standards, and company policies.
• Educate clients on ancillary insurance products when appropriate.
• Conduct client consultations using telephone and video conferencing platforms.

Qualifications
Required

• Active Health and Life Insurance License.
• Current insurance licenses in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
• Ability to communicate complex insurance information clearly and professionally.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Experience conducting client interactions via phone and video.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or office-based environment.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work.

Preferred

• Additional active state insurance licenses.
• Previous experience with Medicare products, health insurance plans, or enrollment services.
• Experience supporting clients during Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) or Open Enrollment.
• Strong understanding of Medicare coverage options, plan comparisons, and member education.
• Experience working in a consultative client-facing environment.
