Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery

Employee Separation Policy: Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply

HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

NBO: 16 hrs

EMR: EPIC

OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier

Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum

On Call: ***/hr

Charge/Precept: ***/hr

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Unit Info:

• Bed Size: 24 bed, 2 OR
• Patient Ratios: 1:3-4 couplets
• Patient Types: c-sections, vaginal deliveries, Triage
• Drips: magnesium, insulin, pitocin
• Scrubs: hospital provided

Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist

Experience in Post Partum / Mother-Baby care [required]

Experience in Labor & Delivery [required]

C-section/vaginal delivery experience including triage [required]

No 1st time travelers, must have completed at least one travel assignment in previous 12 mos [required]

Intermediate or Advance EFM / AWHONN certificate is accepted [required]

Drip experience; magnesium, insulin, pitocin [required]

Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, Mother Baby experience [required]

Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, Mother Baby) [required]

Nursy's must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission [required] [document]

Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
