This is an in-person role based at our manufacturing facility.

 

Are you a visionary leader ready to take the next step into company ownership and executive leadership? The business owner is retiring in 1-3 years and is using this as transition period.

 

We’re conducting a nationwide search for a driven, entrepreneurial professional to join a well-established, growth-ready manufacturing companies, with a succession plan to become President.

 

This unique role is designed for someone ready to lead — not on day one, but after gaining full knowledge of the company’s operations, products, markets, and people. You’ll work directly with the current owner and leadership team to learn the business from the ground up, with the clear objective of assuming full executive leadership.

 

Some overnight travel is required to visit key customers, vendors, industry partners, trade shows, etc.

 

What We're Looking For

Candidates should bring one of the following strengths:

Technical/Industry Experience in:

• Film converting
• Specialty materials or flexible packaging

OR Business Growth & Innovation Experience:

• Proven success launching new products or entering new markets
• Strong business development, commercialization, or product management background
• Experience in small manufacturing environments desirable

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field and/or MBA or equivalent experience in strategic business leadership
• 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, product development, or technical sales
• Proven leadership and cross-functional management capabilities
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and long-term vision
• Experience managing senior level staff
