Location: Great Bend, KS Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Shift: Day Shift; 36 hours/week with potential overtime for covering staff absences Hours/week: 36 Employment Type: Full-Time Required Licenses/Certs: KS RT License, NBRC RRT Credential, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP Experience: Minimum 6 months in clinical settings; critical care experience preferred Hourly Rate: $28.57 – $37.84 Shift Differentials: Evening (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM): +$2.30/hr Night (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM): +$3.75/hr Weekend (Friday 7:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM): +$3.00/hr Benefits: Health, dental, vision, retirement plan, paid vacation/sick leave Additional: Sign-on bonus possible; COVID vaccine required or declination What You'll Do Perform routine Epic and bedside medication verification Work independently in critical care areas once trained Administer all modes of respiratory therapy across hospital units Assess patient needs and recommend appropriate therapy strategies according to protocols Mentor and train new staff and students to ensure excellent patient care standards Adapt to various clinical situations confidently and efficiently What You Need Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license from the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts NBRC CRT/RRT credential BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP certifications At least 6 months of clinical experience, preferably in critical care settings Strong computer skills and clinical assessment ability About the Assignment Join a reputable healthcare team in Great Bend, offering a dynamic environment to grow your skills in critical care.
