Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Dover, DE

Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ growth and communication skills as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with a focus on pediatrics. This full-time, on-site position is based near Dover, DE and welcomes both local and travel professionals passionate about making an impact in school settings.

Key Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
State licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility and willingness to obtain)
Possession of or eligibility for the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based caseloads
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Your Essential Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication or swallowing disorders
Deliver direct therapeutic intervention tailored to students’ unique needs in both individual and group settings
Collaborate closely with educators, fellow therapists, and families to address each student’s goals
Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute actively to the multi-disciplinary team
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance service delivery
