Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Unit - Day Shift

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our 6B Medical Unit. Role & Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to adults with acute and chronic conditions, including diagnoses like pneumonia, diabetes, COPD, and mental status changes. Manage a patient load of 5-6 individuals, implementing relationship-based care models. Collaborate with team members and charge nurses for daily assignments based on patient acuity, diagnosis, and staff qualifications. Work in a fast-paced inpatient setting, receiving patients from emergency, ICU, and other units. Qualifications & Skills Valid RN license in Delaware or a Compact State. Minimum of one year of med/surg nursing experience. BLS certification required. BSN preferred or commitment to obtain within three years. Key Duties & Conditions Implement compassionate, relationship-based care guided by core values of love and excellence. Work day shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week. Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and handling equipment. Work involves exposure to biological, chemical, and environmental elements. Additional Info Competitive hourly pay range: $41.28 - $66.05.
