Product Demonstrator Part Time

Overview The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining product knowledge, preparing and breaking down products, equipment and supplies, intercepting consumers, and maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Responsibilities Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented. Has desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner. Effectively communicates the features and benefits of the product. Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives. Maintains a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Maintains a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job. Properly sets up and prepares the event table for execution. Achieves 100% execution on assigned work. Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections. Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. Completes expense reports as per company policy. Accurately prepares and submits all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Accesses the internet, navigates company systems, uses Microsoft Outlook, and views documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms. This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business needs. Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1‑3 months related experience/training preferred; or equivalent combination. Computer Skills: Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device, applications and internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required. Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb stairs, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a fully laden demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages with appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming per retailer dress code.
