TRAVEL - RN - MOTHER BABY/NURSERY
LOCATION: LewisGale Medical Center
Shift Type: Night Shift
Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:00 AM
Duration: 13 weeks

GENERAL INFORMATION

Tell us about the Unit:

• Number of Beds: 9 LDR, 8 PP/GYN, 2 OR Suites, 23 Wellborn Nursery

• Number of Staff: 50+

Type of Staff:

• Day Shift: Director, Manager, Couplet Nurses, Birth Response Nurse, L&D Nurses, Scrub Tech

• Night Shift: Clinical Coordinator or Charge Nurse, Birth Response Nurse, Couplet Nurses, L&D Nurses, Scrub Tech

Patient Ratios:

• Postpartum: 3 couplets to 1 nurse

• L&D: 1:1 for active labor, Pitocin, and epidural patients

Type of Equipment: Corometrics

EMR: Centricity Perinatal & Meditech

HIRING PROFILE

Must Have:

• OB experience

• BLS

• ACLS

• NRP

• AWHONN
  

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Cesarean section experience

• C-section circulator experience

• C-section first-assist experience

• C-section scrub experience

• Scrubs are provided by the facility

WEEKENDS / ON-CALL

• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period

• Day Shift: Saturday/Sunday

• Night Shift: Friday/Saturday

• No call requirement for travel staff

• Extra shifts may be available for interested travelers
