Buyer Planner II drives material availability, inventory optimization, and supply continuity supporting Empower's expanding 503A and 503B operations. This role owns purchasing execution, demand alignment, supplier coordination, inventory planning, and operational responsiveness ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing, service reliability, and scalable business growth. Leveraging AI-enabled forecasting, inventory analytics, workflow automation, and procurement insights as force multipliers, the position improves decision-making speed, purchasing accuracy, operational visibility, and supply chain efficiency across complex regulated environments. Success requires strategic thinking, execution rigor, learning agility, and disciplined problem solving within a hyper-growth organization balancing operational demands, supplier performance, and compliance expectations. - Purchase Execution: Executes purchasing activities, supplier coordination, purchase order management, and material tracking supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations and inventory availability. Utilizes AI-enabled forecasting, workflow automation, and procurement analytics tools to improve purchasing accuracy, accelerate transaction processing, strengthen supplier visibility, and support data-driven decision-making within Empower's highly regulated 503A and 503B environment.
- Inventory Planning: Manages inventory replenishment activities, demand alignment, and planning coordination supporting operational continuity and production schedules. Applies AI-assisted forecasting, inventory analytics, and digital planning tools to reduce shortages, improve material availability, optimize purchasing responsiveness, and strengthen scalable supply chain execution across rapidly growing operational environments.
- Supplier Coordination: Partners with suppliers, warehouse teams, manufacturing operations, and planning stakeholders to maintain supply continuity and resolve material challenges proactively. Leverages AI-powered reporting, procurement dashboards, and workflow automation technologies to improve communication efficiency, strengthen supplier accountability, accelerate issue resolution, and support operational reliability across evolving business demands.
- Risk Mitigation: Identifies supplier risks, inventory vulnerabilities, and operational disruptions impacting manufacturing continuity, customer service, or procurement performance. Utilizes AI-enabled analytics, predictive insights, and trend monitoring tools to strengthen escalation responsiveness, improve contingency planning, reduce operational interruptions, and support scalable supply chain performance within fast-paced regulated environments.
- Process Improvement: Evaluates procurement workflows, purchasing activities, and operational processes to identify opportunities improving efficiency, scalability, and execution quality. Applies AI-powered automation, digital procurement systems, and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce manual inefficiencies, enhance operational visibility, strengthen workflow consistency, and contribute measurable value supporting enterprise growth objectives.
- Data Accuracy: Maintains accurate purchasing records, inventory data, supplier documentation, and operational reporting supporting compliance alignment and reliable decision-making. Leverages AI-assisted dashboards, ERP platforms, and analytics systems to improve reporting quality, strengthen operational transparency, enhance inventory visibility, and support disciplined procurement execution across complex operational environments.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborates with Manufacturing, Planning, Warehouse, Quality, and Finance teams to support operational priorities, inventory alignment, and procurement responsiveness. Utilizes AI-enabled collaboration tools, operational dashboards, and reporting platforms to improve communication effectiveness, strengthen accountability, accelerate issue resolution, and align cross-functional execution supporting business continuity and customer satisfaction.
- Operational Support: Supports production schedules, inventory planning initiatives, and supply chain priorities ensuring timely material availability and operational readiness. Applies AI-powered forecasting, workflow automation, and procurement analytics tools to improve planning responsiveness, strengthen execution consistency, reduce operational delays, and contribute scalable support across Empower's rapidly expanding operations.

- Strong understanding of purchasing operations, inventory planning, supplier coordination, procurement workflows, and supply chain processes within fast-paced, regulated, or high-growth operational environments.
- Proficiency using ERP systems, procurement platforms, AI-enabled forecasting tools, inventory analytics technologies, and operational dashboards supporting scalable purchasing execution and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving capabilities with experience identifying inventory risks, improving purchasing efficiency, resolving supply disruptions, and managing competing operational priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, maintain data accuracy, and support operational continuity within dynamic business environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory planning, supply chain, or buyer planner experience supporting manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated operational environments preferred.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems, procurement platforms, inventory management tools, forecasting technologies, and operational reporting systems strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled procurement analytics, workflow automation tools, and digital planning methodologies supporting operational scalability preferred.
