Production Supervisor - Injection Molding | 2nd Shift

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent plastics manufacturer in the Elberton, GA area , is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor - Injection Molding to join their team! This is a full-time, 2nd-shift leadership opportunity offering a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to lead and develop a production team within an injection molding manufacturing environment.

Production Supervisor - Injection Molding Job Summary:
• Salary: $75,000-$85,000 annually, depending on experience
• Shift: 2nd Shift
• Location: Elberton, GA
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Supervise and coordinate injection molding processes, including machine setups and production operations
• Lead and manage direct and indirect production associates, providing direction, coaching, development, and accountability
• Manage employees, equipment, and materials to achieve quality and productivity goals while controlling costs
• Ensure products are manufactured according to established process standards, cycle times, quality requirements, and packaging specifications
• Monitor labor efficiency, utilization, productivity, and overall departmental performance
• Develop team members and promote a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture
• Complete daily shift reporting and required production documentation
• Lead problem-solving activities and address production issues as they arise
• Train operators on applicable systems, procedures, processes, and production standards
• Maintain and continuously improve 5S standards throughout the production floor
• Communicate production status, concerns, staffing needs, and operational issues effectively with the management team
• Ensure company procedures, safety requirements, and manufacturing standards are consistently followed
• Support overtime and additional production requirements as needed

Production Supervisor - Injection Molding Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Injection molding manufacturing leadership experience strongly preferred
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Previous experience supervising and developing production employees
• Experience managing production quality, productivity, efficiency, and labor utilization
• Strong employee coaching, development, and accountability skills
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and 5S principles
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Must be local to the Elberton, GA area or within a reasonable commuting distance
