When customers depend on us, quality can’t be an afterthought. You’ll champion customer satisfaction and process excellence across the plant—linking Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, and Operations to deliver compliant, reliable product every time.

• Be the customer’s primary quality contact: respond to concerns, coordinate internal actions, and communicate updates in customer portals and via scorecards.
• Lead root-cause and corrective action using structured methods (8D, 5 Whys, Six Sigma) and confirm effectiveness on the floor.
• Stand up short-term countermeasures—containment, inspection, sorting—when quality issues arise.
• Enable new product and process introductions: define quality requirements, generate documentation, run validation, and deliver APQP/PPAP outputs.
• Drive production readiness and early-build quality checks to prevent escapes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve products, processes, equipment capability, and overall quality performance.
• Run cross-functional problem-solving sessions and standardize the use of proven quality methodologies.
• Investigate internal/external nonconformances; manage disposition and implement preventive actions.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects that enhance quality, efficiency, waste reduction, and process reliability.
• Collect and analyze data to support qualification/validation of components, processes, tooling, and equipment.
• Conduct layered product/process audits to verify compliance with internal and customer requirements and quality-system standards.
• Maintain thorough quality documentation; train production and support teams on expectations and customer-specific needs.
• Take on additional quality projects as required.

• Experience partnering directly with customers in a quality, engineering, manufacturing, or technical capacity.
• Proficiency with structured problem-solving (8D, 5 Whys, Six Sigma) and data-driven decision-making.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949.
• Comfort with core quality tools: SPC, APQP, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, PPAP.
• Understanding of manufacturing/assembly processes, equipment, tooling, inspection methods, and process controls.
• Experience with statistical and quality software (e.g., Minitab) plus Microsoft Office and standard business tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to interface confidently with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced plant environment; organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Collaborative and independent working style; professionalism, accountability, integrity, and sound judgment.
• History of improving processes for better customer and internal outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred; equivalent education and relevant manufacturing/quality experience considered.
