Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel

Must have MS/SD experience. ICU experience preferred.

Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. The role involves delivering competent patient care, administering prescribed medications, monitoring physiological data, assisting physicians in examinations and procedures, and interacting with patients and families to share care plans and hospital procedures. Delegation of tasks to support staff and making referrals regarding patient care needs are also key responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Basic computer skills.
• Tracheostomy care experience.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Stepdown (high acuity) experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ICU experience.

Required Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS issued by AHA.
