Emergency Department Technician II (ED Tech)

Job Summary The Emergency Department Technician II – FH role assists the healthcare team in the completion of specific patient care tasks. Upon successful completion of an IV course, performs IV’s. Key Qualifications Education: Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OR completion of a National Registry EMT-B or EMT-A course, OR completion of an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) program with 160 hours of clinical experience required. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Additional skills/requirements preferred: Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology. Training in phlebotomy and performing EKG’s.
