Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving functional abilities and independence with daily activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License/Certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or post-acute care experience preferred.
