Job Overview Supplemental Health Care seeks a traveling Ultrasound Technologist for a 13‑week assignment at a clinic in North Bergen, New Jersey. The position starts ASAP and requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts. This is a travel contract role. Responsibilities Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure quality for diagnostic use. Identify normal and abnormal imaging findings and communicate results to physicians and health professionals, alerting them to urgent issues. Prepare patients for procedures, educate them throughout the ultrasound exam, and review patient medical history. Record imaging results in patient records and coordinate care with various departments within the facility. Qualifications Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Associate or Bachelor’s degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy. American Heart Association BLS certification. At least 2 years of recent relevant experience. Compensation and Details Weekly pay ranges from $1,710 to $1,910. The contract is 13 weeks, with the possibility to extend. Pay is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week. Tax‑free stipends may be included for meals, housing, and incidentals.
