The successful candidate will be responsible for all fundraising and development activities, with a focus on building visibility, impact, and financial resources. This role involves designing and overseeing a structured development plan that includes various fundraising initiatives such as annual campaigns, planned giving, and major gifts. The VP will also be tasked with maintaining close working relationships with funders and the Board of Directors, as well as identifying new funding sources. Leadership is a key aspect of the position, as the VP will provide direction to the resource development and marketing staff, establish and implement policies and procedures, and work collaboratively with senior leadership to promote the organization's mission. Applicants for the VP of Resource Development position at the company should have a college degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience in fundraising, with a proven track record in major gifts and individual fundraising.
