We value craftsmanship, teamwork, and an exceptional customer experience. Job Overview We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Installation Specialist to join our growing field team. In this role, you will bring custom design plans to life directly inside our clients' homes. You will transport, assemble, and precisely install custom cabinetry, shelving, molding, and organizational hardware. Professional references and a background check are required. Key Responsibilities * Installation & Assembly: Accurately measure, assemble, and secure custom closet units, cabinetry, pantries, garage systems, wall beds, and integrated LED lighting. * Finish Carpentry: Fit and install baseboards, crown molding, scribe fillers, and countertops to guarantee a flawless aesthetic. * Blueprint & Tool Usage: Read and interpret design schematics, floor plans, and elevation drawings. Operate power tools including miter saws, track saws, table saws, jigsaws, drills, and multi-tools. * Customer Interaction: Serve as the face of Inspired Closets on-site. Walk clients through completed installations, demonstrate unit features, and maintain a respectful, professional demeanor. * Job Site Management: Unload materials safely, set up clean indoor/outdoor workstations, protect clients' home interiors, and clean up workspace thoroughly upon completion. * Quality Assurance: Inspect finished installations for alignment, stability, and polish before leaving the site. Qualifications * Experience: 1-3+ years of hands-on experience in carpentry, cabinet installation, custom closet installation, or finish carpentry. * Tool Proficiency: Confident using various hand and power tools safely and precisely. * Physical Capability: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials up to 50-75 lbs., stand for long shifts, and work comfortably in tight spaces. * Clean Driving Record: Valid driver's license and a clean record to operate company install vehicles. * Mindset: Strong math/measurement skills, reliable attendance, attention to detail, and a coachable, solution-oriented attitude.
