Loan Operations Analyst

Job Summary The Loan Operations department at Midcap Financial is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Loan Analyst on the Agency Services team. The Loan Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of a portfolio of loans including, but not limited to, the key responsibilities listed below. Key Responsibilities Deal Administration: Manage a portfolio of leveraged loans, handling invoicing, payments, and transaction processing with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance. Client and Investor Relations: Act as the main point of contact for borrowers and syndicate lenders, addressing inquiries and managing operational aspects of loans. Operational Support: Assist in the execution of daily tasks within the pod, contributing to the overall efficiency and performance of the team. Process Documentation: Maintain and update reports related to loan servicing activities, ensuring that all data is accurate and up to date. This role does not supervise other employees and does not require travel. Position Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Experience 1-2 years of experience in financial services, preferably in operations. Professional Knowledge Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage a high volume of tasks efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with loan management systems.
