Laboratory Technician (Ada)

Job Title: QC Lab Technician

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Location: Ada, MI

Schedule: Day shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Work Setting: On-site — laboratory

Responsibilities:

Conduct quality testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in the lean cells.

Perform sensory and taste testing on nutrition raw materials and finished goods.

Run tests using titrators, viscometers, NIR/IR, pH meters, and other high-volume methods.

Perform odor and appearance evaluation on samples throughout production.

Communicate with manufacturing when in-process adjustments are required.

Maintain the laboratory work area and assist with general laboratory cleaning.

Manage inventory.

Qualifications:

Experience with wet chemistry, physical, and sensory tests, and other lean cell testing (preferred).

Attention to detail — able to follow SOPs, safety requirements, test procedures, and cGMP.

Ability to recommend continuous improvements.

Able to prioritize work and complete it efficiently at high-quality standards.

Sense of ownership and a basic understanding of manufacturing processes related to quality testing.
