We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to support the installation of electrical systems for commercial HVAC Controls and Building Automation Systems (BAS) projects throughout the Gulf Coast region. This field-based role focuses on installing conduit, pulling wire, terminating devices, and building the electrical infrastructure that supports HVAC controls in commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, and municipal facilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician with strong commercial construction experience who is interested in expanding into the growing field of HVAC controls and building automation . While previous BAS experience is a plus, we are willing to train motivated commercial electricians looking to build a long-term career in controls technology.

Responsibilities

• Install EMT, rigid conduit, and electrical raceways for HVAC Controls and Building Automation System (BAS) projects.
• Bend and install primarily 3/4-inch EMT and rigid conduit while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Pull wire, terminate devices, and complete electrical installations for BAS control panels, controllers, sensors, actuators, and other field devices.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Assist with the installation, startup, testing, and commissioning of HVAC control panels and building automation equipment.
• Coordinate with Controls Technicians, Project Managers, mechanical contractors, and other trades to ensure successful project execution.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and perform field modifications as required.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.
• Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and jobsite safety requirements.
• Deliver safe, professional, and high-quality workmanship on every project.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial electrical installation experience.
• Strong experience bending and installing EMT and rigid conduit , including 3/4-inch conduit .
• Experience working on commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, or similar construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and construction documents.
• Experience pulling wire, terminating devices, and completing commercial electrical installations.
• Experience with HVAC Controls, Building Automation Systems (BAS), or low-voltage control systems is preferred but not required.
• Residential-only electrical experience is not sufficient for this role.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and pride in producing quality work.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites throughout the Gulf Coast region.
• Eagerness to learn HVAC controls, BAS technologies, and advanced building automation systems.
