Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in our kitchen. Dietary Aide Responsibilities: 

• Assist with food production, including meal preparation and plating

• Follow dietary restrictions and guidelines when preparing meals

• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and sanitized - Set up dining areas for meal service

• Assist with serving meals to residents - Maintain inventory of food and supplies

• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Dietary Aide Skills: 

• Previous experience as a Dietary Aide or in a similar food service role is preferred

• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment

• Strong time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks

• Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team - Basic cooking skills are a plus
