Orthopaedic Surgery - Physician

SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking faculty with outstanding clinical abilities who share a commitment to high-quality medical care, education, and professional development for an appointment at the assistant professor level in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. As a faculty member of the department, opportunities exist for clinical service and teaching, with administrative and research opportunities based on interest. Position Details: * 50% Inpatient, 50% Outpatient * Full spectrum of Adult Orthopedic injuries and Pathology * Supervise residents in outpatient and inpatient (OR) settings * The provider will see patients in an outpatient setting * Ordering diagnostic procedures, x-rays, etc. * Review findings and present them to the patient * The Ortho group consists of 15 tenured surgeons * Consisting of specialists: Total Joint, Foot & Ankle * Practice will be based at St. Louis University Hospital * with the opportunity to see patients in an outpatient clinic in the St. Louis metro area.
