Job Description As a Security Officer Access Management in Albany, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution, you will help maintain a welcoming, professional environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $18.62 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification, reviewing visitor authorizations, issuing access credentials, and maintaining accurate entry records. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Monitor access points, alarm panels, cameras, and related systems as assigned; report irregular activity and equipment concerns to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
