MedTech Field Service Engineer or Technician - Device Upgrade
$27 - $32 per hourIQVIA
IQVIA seeks a field service technician or engineer to install, upgrade, and maintain medical devices such as infusion pumps at hospitals nationwide. The role involves 100% travel with customer support, troubleshooting, and documentation responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing communication and technical support to hospital staff on-site
- Install, configure, test, and update medical devices, hardware, software, and network products
- Conduct routine post-installation checks and record product test data
- Document and submit daily reports while maintaining quality standards
- Travel locally, regionally, and nationally to support customer assignments
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent military training or 3-5 years biomedical/technical field service experience
- Strong computer troubleshooting skills across multiple software programs
- Professional communication and business acumen
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license and personal vehicle required
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/sit for extended periods
- Current immunizations and hospital credentialing clearance capability
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of independent or team-based work
Compensation: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
