Position Multi-Purpose Clerk - Meat/Seafood – 5000 Mowry Ave., Fremont, CA 94538 Hiring pay range: $18.05 - $26.50 per hour Overview The Meat Clerk ensures that customers’ needs are met by delivering remarkable customer service and providing product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The Meat Clerk is responsible for practicing safe food handling procedures and maintaining department standards. This position supports the Meat department by greeting and assisting customers, promoting sales within the department, preparing, packaging, labeling, and merchandising products, and handling customer requests and special orders. The Meat Clerk handles all products in a safe, sanitary manner and keeps all areas and equipment in the department clean. Responsibilities • Greet and assist customers with questions; provide excellent customer service and product information.

• Promote sales within the Meat/Seafood department; meet department goals.
• Prepare, package, label, and merchandise products to department standards.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas and equipment; follow safe food handling procedures.
• Respond to customer requests and handle special orders as needed.
