By bridging factory support, root cause analysis, and new product development, this role ensures optimal manufacturing uptime, rigorous third-party product validation, and seamless integration of next-generation building automation controller as part of portfolio expansion and replacements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed schematics and circuit designs, including analog and digital architectureEnsure designs meet performance, cost, reliability, and EMC/EMI requirementsSelect and evaluate components with a focus on lifecycle, availability, and manufacturabilityProvide technical leadership and design guidance to cross‑functional engineering teamsSupport hardware verification, validation, and compliance testing activitiesCollaborate closely with firmware engineers to ensure seamless HW/FW integrationAbility to independently drive complex engineering projects, interpret failure modesTroubleshoot and resolve design, test, and production issuesDocument designs, requirements, and technical decisions in accordance with engineering standardsDocument designs, requirements, and technical decisions in accordance with engineering standardsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering5+ years’ experience in electrical/electronic hardware design, root cause analysis, and product development lifecyclesPay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually.
