Work hours: 8 hours between the hours of 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, and some Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00 pm What You’ll Be Doing: Support optometrists by performing pre-screening tests and assisting with exams Collect patient medical histories and explain vision benefits clearly and confidently Train patients on contact lens use and care Verify insurance, schedule appointments, and keep communication flowing smoothly Help coordinate patient flow and contribute to a seamless, high-quality experience Collaborate with your team to meet goals and deliver exceptional care Welcome and prepare patients for their eye examinations. Obtain patient medical and ocular histories. Perform preliminary testing, including visual acuity, autorefraction, tonometry, retinal imaging, and other diagnostic procedu Assist the doctor during examinations and procedures as needed. Educate patients on contact lenses, eyewear, and treatment plan Maintain accurate electronic medical records. Clean and maintain exam rooms and equipment. Support front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and answering phones when needed. Contact lens training, education, and ordering What We’re Looking For: 1+ year of customer service experience (optometric or medical experience is a plus!)
