Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days | Start Time 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Projected Start: 07/27/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for cardiovascular (open-heart) surgical cases with the ability to support general OR as needed
• Utilize the nursing process — assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — for assigned patients in accordance with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and available resources

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment or a valid compact license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR (cardiovascular operating room) experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records charting
• Ability to function independently in a complex clinical OR environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience supporting general OR cases in addition to cardiovascular procedures
