Job Summary The HCA Nurse Residency Program at Trident Medical Center provides you with the tools necessary to succeed in today’s hospital environment. This paid program will assist with the transition from student nurse to registered nurse through a formalized series of learning experiences. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other duties as ordered by providers, documenting promptly. Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and intervene when necessary. Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs proactively. Teach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow‑up. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment Other certifications may be required during employment Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Registered Nurse License No previous experience needed Some travel may be required for training We are an equal opportunity employer.
