**The Diagnostic Molecular Genetics Laboratory** at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a **Senior Genetic Analysis Specialist** to join a world-class clinical team focused on interpreting and classifying germline genetic variants that guide inherited cancer risk assessment and support patient care.**Role Overview:** **Key Qualifications:** Comprehensive knowledge, and demonstrated proficiency towards interpreting germline variants in a clinical laboratory and/or cancer genetics setting.Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate scientific literature and apply findings to clinical variant interpretation. **Core Skills:** Molecular & Germline Genetics Knowledge – Experience with molecular lab workflows, germline cancer genetics, and clinical laboratory regulations. Genomic & Bioinformatics Knowledge – Experience with NGS, Sanger Sequencing and MLPA data interpretation, relevant clinical analysis tools, and bioinformatics software/databases.Expert Scientific Literacy – Ability to critically read, interpret, and apply findings from scientific literature to clinical practice and variant curation.Communication & Knowledge Sharing – Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to train and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.Location: Schwartz Building, 1250 First Avenue, New York, NY #J-18808-Ljbffr MSK
