About The Role Physical Therapists are responsible for supporting patient care and clinic success by: Synthesizing information from patient referrals, medical records, imaging, intake forms, and subjective history taking. Diagnosing movement dysfunction via functional movement, posture, gait analysis, internal pelvic floor examinations, and objective measurements. Using critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care that include patient goals and expected outcomes. Utilizing evidence‑based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re‑education, biofeedback, and modalities to achieve patient goals. Evaluating and documenting patient progress, using outcomes to drive results and modifying the plan of care as needed. Educating patients on the recovery process and how to cope with challenges. Following up with patients to ensure adherence to the plan of care. Connecting with providers and local organizations to increase awareness of therapies and ensure patients receive care. Providing clinical instruction to at least one student rotation per year after the first year of treatment in your specialty area. Other tasks as assigned.
