Northrop Grumman Aeronautical Systems is seeking a Deployable Senior Principal Configuration Analyst (level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Beale AFB, CA. You will plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Review contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinate modification records for management control. Establish change orders and prepare for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. *This position will require up to 25% Travel* Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of military or relevant configuration analyst experience; OR Master’s degree and 6 years of military or relevant configuration analyst experience; OR 12 years of military or relevant configuration analyst experience in lieu of a degree. Experience in specifying, collecting, processing, and presenting information from potentially several disparate data sets. Experience working in Plans Scheduling & Documentation (PS&D) or Maintenance Operations Center (MOC). Experience with technical data and electronic technical manual change processes. Experience in using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel products. Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year. Must be able to meet medical requirements for worldwide travel. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport. Willingness to accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location to support business needs. Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting aircraft mechanical and avionics systems. Experience evaluating engineering changes for implementation. Aircraft Maintenance experience. Primary Level Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $168,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
